Automatic Filter Systems
Just let us know what you need, and we can provide fully automatic, in-line, or bypass-mounted filter systems fabricated from stainless steel 304 and 316 that may be installed as an inline system or in a bypass configuration within your process. A major advantage of these systems is their automation: the filter self-cleans through an internal mechanism upon contamination. This automatic cleaning highly reduces maintenance time because the operator does not have to keep checking the filter for delta P, i.e., difference in pressure, and contamination.

Further to that, we are offering filters in different shapes to fit applications, including Y-Shaped strainers, O-Shaped strainers, and L-Shaped strainers. This variety guarantees that we can select the best self-cleaning filter for your particular needs.
Filter systems in operation
Suction Pad System
Functions by use of a pressure difference or by time. On the dirt of the filter screen, rinsing proceeds. At this time, the drain and suction nozzles in the filter screen open to clean it. The rinsing continues for 10 up to 20 seconds, after which the filter screen is considered cleaned, and returns to normal mode of production.
Spray Nozzle System
Operates through delta P and time in cleaning the screen filter by passing clean water and/or permeate. It interrupts flux on the clean water side.
Brush System
This system involves the same principles of delta P and timed flushing but in this case the cleaning of the screen is done using rotating brushes. The rinse cycle involves an interruption of the flux on the clean water side with the exception of micronages of above 200 microns.
Hybrid System
The latest development in filtration technology integrates brushes and spray nozzles.
Filter screens
Our automatic filters come standard with removable filter screens featuring a diamond-shaped covering of PES or AISI filter mesh. For applications requiring a more robust solution, we offer wedgewire filter screens that release dirt more effectively during the rinse cycle.
