Our Wound filter cartridges are renowned for their high efficiency in removing large amounts of sediment, such as rust or dirt, from liquids. These depth filters, with their tapered structure, offer an effective and cost-efficient filtration solution. Available in various lengths and micronage options, they are made of high-quality materials that ensure no release of adhesive residues or production dirt.
Wound filter cartridges stand out in the filtration industry due to their unique design and superior performance. Acting as depth filters, they feature an open exterior structure that tapers conically towards the inside. This design results in a denser inner structure which enhances the cartridge’s dirt collection capacity.
These cartridges can be supplied in lengths ranging from 4½ “to 60”, accommodating various filtration requirements. Beyond standard lengths, custom dimensions can be produced and delivered to meet specific needs. The micronage of these filters varies from 0.5 micron to a substantial 250 micron, providing a wide selection to cater to different filtration precision levels.
All wound filters adhere to the highest quality standards and fulfill today’s filtration requirements. The winding, made of washed and bleached polypropylene, ensures no release of adhesive residues or production dirt.
The cartridges are available as Double Open End (DOE) and Single Open End (SOE) versions, with various end cap styles available for the SOE version. The inner core can be made of polypropylene, stainless steel, or tin-plated steel. Besides polypropylene, the filter winding can also be designed with Nylon, Glass fiber, or Cotton as filter material, depending on the process requirement.
In addition to the standard versions with a diameter of 60-65 mm, we also offer Big Blue versions with a diameter of 100 to 110 mm. These thicker cartridges have a longer lifespan and can handle larger flows.
