The grooved version of the meltblown filter cartridges are depth filters. Our type of filter cartridge consists of three layers and tapers from the outside to the inside. Due to these tapered filter layers, the filter cartridge has a large dirt collection.
The grooves also create a larger filter surface, which benefits the filtration process and the service life of the filter cartridge.

Specifications

The cartridge can be produced and supplied by us in lengths ranging from 4½ ”to 60”.
As a filter specialist, we can produce and deliver not only the standard lengths, but also deviating Custom Made dimensions.
The micronage varies from 0.5 micron to no less than 150 micron.
The double open end (DOE) versions can be supplied with or without gaskets. We have various versions for the single open end (SOE).

We supply the cartridges as a Double open end version (DOE) and as a Single open end version (SOE).
With the SOE version we have various end cap styles, see table below. Our cartridge does not have an inner core as standard, but it can be supplied if desired. For example, if there is a process situation with a lot of pollution and a high rising Delta P.

In addition to the standard versions with a diameter of 60-65 mm, we also have filters in the Big Blue version.
These grooved meltblown filter cartridge have a diameter of 100 to 110 mm.
This thicker version has a longer service life to catch dirt and can also handle a larger flow.
We can also provide you with tailor-made advice in this regard.

Applications

Using a grooved element is an effective and inexpensive way to filter.
Due to the low operating costs and simple use, our filter cartridges are a widely used filtration solution.
Frequently applied markets from our regular customer base are: Paint, pigments, process water, waste water, cooling water, cutting fluids, inks, glycerol and the oil & gas industry. But also various other filtration markets such as, for example, drinking water preparation and as pre-filtration for RO or Ultra filtration. This type of filter candle is also extremely suitable as a pre-filtration for watermakers on board the long-haul and/or pleasure craft and is often used as a filtration solution.

In addition to our filter production, we have a large quantity of grooved micron filters in our warehouse in Purmerend, so that delivery can almost always take place the same day. If not in stock, we can deliver from production within a few days.
